About Samuel Di Berardino

Samuel Di Berardio was born in 1989 in Castel San Pietro Terme where he still lives.

It grows in an artistic family atmosphere and since a very young age belongs to the "Association Circolo Artisti" of Castel San Pietro terme exposing in different circumstances with works of various kinds. As a self-taught, he approached the world of photography in 2009, refining over time his techniques entitled "Essential experience" mixing the passion for the natural world and street photography. In his first solo exhibition he proposes shots that represent his surrounding reality freed from the frenzy and the conventionality of continuous shooting.

They surround us, inspire us, involve us, the "essential experiences" are the details that are seen at times with the tail of the eye, a sunset, a summer campaign, a lonely road.

And today they are all here, a moment captured and impressed that normally would away, like the flapping of a butterfly, or the wave that immediately breaks on the beach, here to be admired for as long as they deserve.

A young artist, who puts himself at stake, who by self-taught tries to bring the photograph back to his place, far from the hustle and bustle, the modernity and the photo change, to take the world of printed shots a nice breath, perhaps with a technique still to be refined and little experience, but at the bottom is its "essential experience".

Samuel Di Berardino nasce nel 1989 a Castel San Pietro Terme dove vive tutt’ora.

Cresce in un ambiente familiare artistico e sin da giovanissimo appartiene all’ ”Associazione Circolo Artisti” di Castel San Pietro Terme esponendo in diverse circostanze con opere di vario genere. Da autodidatta si avvicina nel 2009 al mondo della fotografia, affinando nel tempo le sue tecniche che intitola “Essential Experience” mescolando la passione per il mondo naturale e la Street Photography. Nella sua prima mostra personale propone scatti che rappresentano la sua realtà circostante liberata dalla frenesia e dalla convenzionalità dello scatto continuo.

Ci circondano, ci ispirano, ci coinvolgono, le "Esperienze Essenziali" sono i particolari che si vedono alle volte con la coda dell'occhio, un tramonto, una campagna d'estate, una strada solitaria.

E oggi sono tutte qui, un momento catturato ed impresso che normalmente scivolerebbe via, come il battito d'ali di una farfalla, o l'onda che subito si infrange sulla spiaggia, qui per essere ammirate per tutto il tempo che meritano.

Un artista giovane, che si mette in gioco, che da autodidatta cerca di riportare la fotografia al suo posto, lontano dalla frenesia, dalla modernità e dalla foto spicciola, di far prendere al mondo degli scatti stampati un bel respiro, magari con una tecnica ancora da affinare e poca esperienza, ma in fondo è la sua "Essential Experience".
